Don’t Forget About Dental Insurance & Cost-Effective Solutions For Dental Care
As the year begins to wrap up, we want to make sure that you were able to maintain a healthy smile—which means making sure that you get the dental care that you need! So Victory Dental wanted to encourage you to make sure that you have utilized your local dentist in the following ways…
Dental Insurance – Free or Very Low-Cost Preventative Care
For many of you, you have dental insurance plans that you didn’t fully utilize this year. With insurance plans, preventative and diagnostic procedures are completely free or at very little cost to the individual. That means if you’re just coming in for your routine teeth cleaning, which is about twice a year for healthy individuals, you won’t be paying much, if at all. So please come by and get your teeth inspected and cleaned! It’s important to maintain dental health, and it’s very easy on the wallet to do so.
Reduced Cost on Many Dental Procedures
What if you need more than routine care? With most dental insurances, basic procedures—which may include teeth removal, cavity fillings, and gum care—are usually covered by insurance, and you will have a small co-pay of some sort. Other major procedures may cost more out of pocket, but insurance will still cover a good percentage (sometimes up to 50% or 80%). While more cosmetic procedures—such as teeth whitening—will not be covered by insurance.
What Insurances Does Victory Dental Take?
The insurances we take are PPO Dental plans, and this means that we contract with insurance companies to do dental work at a reduced rate. We’re committed to making the experience as affordable as we can make it! The insurances we accept are United Concordia, MetLife, Delta Dental, Aetna, and Cigna. Click through to the links to review everything that each plan usually covers.
It’s very important to make sure you know what your insurance covers, and our dental office will happily look through your plan to ensure that you know exactly what is expected of you for any procedure.
What If I Don’t Have Dental Insurance?
If you don’t have dental insurance, then don’t worry! We have options for you. We offer the Victory Gold Dental Plan, which means you can get dental work done at a reduced rate of 30% off the normal dental rate. You can also use Care Credit, which helps you take out loans for dental work with 6, 12, and 18-month options.
So make sure that you use your insurance or other cost-effective means to keep your smile maintained in 2018. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Victory Dental!
