Victory Dental is proud to be an in-network provider with Delta Dental Insurance PPO, Premiere and EPO Policies.
Delta Dental not only provides individual insurance policies, they also provide policies for employers such as the Colorado Springs Police Department and the local school districts. Delta Dental even holds the contract for the Tri-Care Retiree program, serving veterans and their families.
Because Delta is so large, it is important to review your identification card and provide all information including which state your coverage is through as many policies are contracted through other states even though the employer is local. This information can be found on the back of your card where the mailing address is listed.
Depending on your specific policy, your dental insurance may cover services such as:
- Routine Teeth Cleanings
- Dental X-rays
- Sealants
- Fluoride Treatments
- Periodontal Treatments
- Periodontal Surgeries
- Fillings
- RCT
- Oral Surgery
- Routine Extractions
- Stainless Steel Crowns
- Porcelain or Gold Crowns
- Bridges
- Dentures/Partial Dentures
- Night Guards
- Dental Implants
- Implant Supported Dentures
Each insurance policy is different and likely covers dental services differently. Even policies that are provided by the same employer, sometimes cover services differently. Typically, your policy cannot be changed after the open enrollment period, and is a contract between you and the insurance company. It is very important that you understand your individual insurance policy as sometimes certain aspects of your policy are not given to dental providers. It is very important that you know what is and is not covered and if there are any waiting periods.
We will be happy to look into your dental policy and provide you with estimations based upon those coverage’s. We like to remind our patients that we cannot guarantee coverage from your dental insurance company on any procedure, our estimates are strictly an estimate based on the information provided by your insurance company. However, if you are looking for the most accurate estimation, you may want to consider a pre-determination from your dental insurance company. Please be advised that pre-determinations typically take between 4-6 weeks to process through your insurance company and are only valid for a limited amount of time.
